They wont do anything. You might get the occasional email from them wanting you to buy their kits - different forms for marriage certificates and such - but nothing mandatory. I just got the wall certificate and the pocket card and even that was optional. You will be able to print out your certificate. The whole purpose of that church is to provide a means for people who want to be ordained for whatever reason - lots of Pagans who don't want to just have a justice preside over a wedding, the occasional person who wants to preside over a special ceremony - and to sell you all the accessories. I've never gotten more than an few emails a year.

I wouldn't think so. There's no law I've ever heard about that forces people who've been ordained to participate as religious authorities anywhere.
An ordained Pagan will be performing my and my sweetie's handfasting next year, and I KNOW they don't go anywhere near church. They've got one of those handy-dandy "no proselytizing" stickers on their door! :)

To be ordained means that you are set aside by a faith community to perform certain tasks: preach, preside over
the eucharist, serve the poor. These tasks depend what you are ordained as---a Deacon more often then not serves the poor and preaches.

Naw, I'm an ordained minister of the humanist church.. all they want you to do is buy junk from them.. they just e-mail your option to buy the certificate, which is only good in certain parts of the world. You can just ask them to stop.. they will.

I only know of one ordination on line that is possible and they never bother you, other than the occasional newsletter.
