Okay, my husband and I have a son together who's two (he turns 3 in March), my step-daughter just turned 2 (October 23rd), and our youngest child together is a daughter who's 9 months old. My hubby has been denied contact for the past 2 years, except for a trial period of five months, during which time we discovered that she was being overdosed with infants motrin. The beginning of the investigation was the end of contact. We will be going to court to try to establish visitation, but we think it would be better to have majority custody, because of all the problems: she is 2 and still on formula, she is severely underweight, she is constantly in and out of doctors, specialists, and nutritionists offices, and the only time she acts like a sick and fussy child is when she's with her mother. Around any other family members, she acts like a normal child. What does everyone think?

i think you should go for full custody of the child not just visitation as it sounds to me as if this poor child is being severly neglected.
it seems you have every right to have major concerns.
i i would do everything in your power to get that child and give her the happy loving and secure home so that she so desperately needs.
well done for being so vigilant most people would brush it under the carpet and accept no responsibility because they only have visitation and cant be bothered with the hassle of courts etc.
good with everything i hope you get custody of the child.

Have your husband take the baby to a private pedi and have them document it for him no need to tell the mom. Call your local protective childrens services and explain the situation to them, someone needs to help this child and hopefully your husband can remove this child from this harmful situation. Let God watch over the baby until help can be rendered. My prays are with you and your husband and the child

what is that called ?? Munchhausen by Proxy ?? spelling is wrong I know... but anyway, it is were the parent or guardian makes the child sick to the point of near death to get attention... I think DAD needs to get a court order for evaluation of baby, and FAST and also one of mom... you need to get signed affidavits from family members who are around the child a lot, and are willing to help you get the evidence you need to save this child's life... I would push this with everything you've got !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless

Yea I have, a few boys bashed some mailboxes, and I came around the corner afterwards and some guy just gripped me by the neck, and said I did it, luckily the cops knew the group of boys as they did this before, but yea you better believe I got revenge and paintballed a few things:) WITH my dad, because he wanted to kill the guy.

Sounds like a case of Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy. I would persue this very strongly if I were you.

Yeah I think you are right. But you have to be able to prove it somehow.
