God has never told me about himself or ever spoken to me. The only people who have talked to me were other people and none of them did anything to earn my trust about what they say?

I definitly understand where you are comeing from. I think that is the Jewish perspective. (Although there is a claim that God went to all the Nations and offered to give them the Torah.)
As a Jew I can't make that claim. God spoke to my Great great great ansestors at mt. Sinai. He told them to tell thier children who would tell thier children who eventually told me. So I am linked to him indirectly. God did reveal himself to Noah and told him that he couldn't do certian things like kill (from cain and able) and eat the flesh of a living animal.

First of all, how do you know He has never spoken to you? Maybe you just didn't hear Him? The problem is this - as humans we assume we would hear some manly, thunderous voice or something, but that's not generally how it goes. Sometimes, He sends a person you know - or a stranger to tell you about Him. I realize you say "none of them did anything to earn my trust about what they say" why is that? Is it because they weren't living a "perfect" christian lifestyle? For whatever reason many people believe that to be christian you must be perfect, but christian or not, we are still human. Even the bible acknowledges that we all sin - even christians. Sometimes we are so eager to see a phenomenol sign from God, that we are oblivious to the fact that He is giving us TONS of them throughout our life - even just each day. Besides, these days if He did send some major sign most people would do whatever they can to disprove that it is from God anyway. If you aren't open to them you will miss all of His signs - and He gives ALL OF US much, much proof of Him. God bless.

god uses people to send his message. he has spoken to u. he has sent 2 people to reveal himself to u. u must trust him. if u have been presented with the word of god then u are responsible. god puts before u 2 choices life or death. u get to choose. if u dont read the word u dont know. hosea 4.6 says that my people die for lack of knowledge. now u know. have a converstion with him be quiet and he will speak to u. im so glad that u are searching for him because u will find him. the bibe says seek ye and u shall find. knock and the door will be opened. he is right there with u tell him hello. invite him into ur heart. and see the wonders that he will do through u! i pray that he blesses u richly. amen

It is you who has to ask, not God. Everyone is responsible for ALL of their thoughts words and deeds. When the sands run out on the hour glass of grace & mercy (very soon now), everyone will feel the weight of their thoughts & actions.
Have you asked Him to speak to you in sincerity? Have you the humility to listen & hear? Have you kept your heart & mind open to receive Him?
If no one has earned your trust in their words then you are speaking to the wrong people perhaps?
I do have one suggestion for you. Try speaking to Him using His new name Lightning Amen. He usally just goes by Amen. Either one works. If you are truly seeking God you will try this. If you don't your just BS'ing yourself.

Hi Taren, Just wanted to let you know that God is speaking to you now. Maybe not directly but he speaks to you all the time- you just have to want to listen. I am not begging you to convert to Christianity, it has to be your decision. I have however read some of your questions and I have a question for you to ask yourself. Why does Christianity scare you/offend you so much? If you think we are blind then so be it. Why do you resort to making fun of someone elses beliefs? I am not going to belittle you for being an athiest. Live your life how you see fit and let others do the same.

There is a Scripture which states: "they have the laws written in their hearts".........
Something deep down inside of you, rather, innate, must follow a set law.... Irregardless of whether you know what the laws are, you know something about it even if you were not told what that was.......
It is called "instincts" to some... "innate" to others... and "nature" to most.......
However you look at it, your heart knows what it means......

God gave you His word, read it for yourself and you will find that He has called you to Himself. He knows you personally, He knew you before you were born and He loved you just as you are.His word (the Bible) is to you, read it and find that He is calling you.
