Be brutally honest ladies what are the most appealling characteristics in a man for you. What really turns you on?......I have a rather "large wager" with a friend on this questions' responses. I believe the awnsers will favor non-superficial desires such as success and money. I suppose I am a hopeless romantic.... Don't prove me wrong! My best to you all & much appreciation for your time ladies...... Peace.........

I am diggin th direction the answers seem to be going..... Honesty seems to be a fairly common thread among you. Is this because you have been hurt in the past or is it that the majority of men a lying *******? You rock girls keep it coming... Thanx!

Sounds like your girlfriend could do better than you, actually - not the other way around. If she is as amazing as you say she is, and treats you so well, and you *STILL* can't manage to see how beautiful she is, then you are both shallow and immature. Honestly, when my husband and I are out, I know there are women who look at him and then at me and think, WTF? I am not long, tall and beautiful - instead, I am about 5'5" and round with no boobs and a big butt and I'm married to a tall, VERY physically fit United States Marine. And I've seen his ex-girlfriends - tall, slender blondes that are a far cry from the short, round brunette that I am - but I'm the one he wanted. I'm the one he fell in love with. Because I'm the one who could make him laugh when he was having a bad day, the one who could tell what he needed or wanted by his tone or a look, because I'm the one who could lay in bed talking until 4 in the morning with him. And also because he was mature enough to see that I'm a good person, and when he looks at me, I can see how beautiful he thinks I am - and that, sir, is the measure of a real man. And that is what your girlfriend deserves.

Honesty is the most important thing. A slightly warped sense of humor is a close second. Good personal hygiene is also pretty important, not that many people notice it unless it's missing.

Money and what someone owns doesn't make a bit of difference for me. Don't misunderstand me, we all want a man that supports himself and can help support us if need be (especially when it comes to times like maternity leave... let's be realistic here) but we want someone who will be a partner in life, who will shoulder responsibility with us and understand that once in a while each partner will need to take a turn shouldering the heavier portion of the load.

I look for someone to be as great as my dad - honest, hardworking, loving, funny, faithful, a good protector and teacher. And always there for us.
