Oh girl, girl, girl....don't try to change a man. If he's not what you want - and this one sounds like a jerk - move on.
Don't let people treat you like that.

wow...sobering advice...I am in a similar situation. The guy I like seems to be turned on sexually by arguments. When I try to have a serious discussion, I am baraged wtih questions and feel under his thumb. It always ends with unresolved issues, me crying, and him wanting sex. I don't think you can stop your man from saying/doing things that hurt you. You can't control another person, only yourself. I have the broken heart to prove it.

People are at their best when the relationship is young. So, if he is this bad now, just think about what he will be like and how he will treat you if you should, Heaven Forbid!, choose to keep him around. Believe me, he will only get worse! Dump him while you can! I can tell you that he doesn't love you. NO ONE in their right mind hurts someone that they love. So what are you waiting for? GO!!

Does he hit you. If he does not, than speak up when you feel that he is being nasty or selfish. You are a human being with just as much right as him to being treated properly and fairly. So do not take any **** from him. Give him and good as you get and maybe he might tone down, however, if he hits you, leave him.

By simply leaving him. Coming from a man, it seems you must have a low self esteem or you wouldn't put up with someone hurting you. This guy must have an inferiority complex also, because he needs to hurt or belittle you to make himself look better, smarter, or tougher. Get out if you can.

Leave him...speaking of selfish, You are the one calling him "My man". That implies ownership..it is pretty selfish to think you could actually OWN someone.

I suggest that you change your telephone number and maybe address. After you move, be sure to never contact him again, and don't talk to any of his friends or relatives.
After a while, he will get the message that you have abandoned him, and maybe he'll treat his next girlfriend a little better.
Good luck to you, and I hope you never see him again.

do unto others has you would have them do unto you....
bible verse....... write it down and stick it all over the house...... see what he says or ask about it and just tell him how you feel about the way he treats you... if things do not change, start treating him as he treats you for about 2 days, it will work or not... then you have a choice to make........ God bless
