I'm sorry to say but unless either one of them gotta move closer to the other, otherwise the relationship won't ever last. I used to love a girl that lives only 2 hours drive away from where i live, but the "relationship" if you wanna call that... didn't last b/c of distance. It requires so much patience and sacrifice to "wait" for the other, and "wait" for what...I mean unless they both have one common goal, which is to see eachother... in real life... somewhere. And even if they see eachother... it won't be often. the only way is to move closer to eachother. Tell your friend that she better have a solution, and it better be good, before she hurts herself... which happened to me :).

Yes I have. I met this woman four years ago on the net and we chat daily. I am so in love with her and I think everything about us click. Sometimes I can almost feel her, hear my name when she says it so many miles away. I dont know whether we'll ever be able to live together but she will always live close to me, in my heart.

yes i've been. we keep sending e-mail, love letters and send letters to tell how about we feel- sad, happy, etc. and it didnt last though.
it will work if your relationship is strong and he/she do not have any third party, if you know wat i mean.
