I have two lovebirds and I am moving to a place that wont allow them. Where do I take them? I would try to give them away, but one is mean. The other one is very sweet and loves to be handled, but the other one doesnt, and I dont want to give someone a bird that will bite them.

Do you have any other options regarding trying to find a way to keep them? These are your family members...
You didn't mention where you are.
If you have no other option,I would attempt to place them with a Parrot Rescue and Adoption Organization.
I doubt one of your little guys is mean, she just needs some training. This is where one of these non-profit organizations can help. you. If you edit your question and tell me where you are, I can locate an adoption Org. that will take your birds, evaluate them, rehab the little one with the attitude, and place them with a family that can give them a loving home.
I understand your dilemma, but attitude or not, these birds have been with humans, and it might be tough to try and place them in a sanctuary when they have been in a loving home.
Give an Adoption Center a shot at trying to place them. I'm affiliated with Phoenix Landing, but there are many others...these are just a few of the really excellent ones:

Talk to the Rescue nearest you and they might be able to direct you to one that will work with you and help you out.

Best of Luck...

There are always parrot rescues that you can take them to. Even if the one is mean, someone will still be willing to care for them. I live in Florida, if you lived here, i would definitly take them. Just check with your local humane society or look up bird and parrot rescues in your surrounding areas. Good luck.

take them to the pet shop and if they dont buy them try putting an add in the paper but warn them one bites. if no one buys 'em, let them go in an area where other lovebirds live

Pet store that resales birds is your best bet. They will let new owners know how to handle or not in this case. You may also leave a contact number if your worried.

When you adopt or buy a pet, you are making a commmitment to that pet for the rest if its life. Move somewhere that will allow you to keep the birds.

Take them to your local zoo. I have found many pet birds that have been let loose. They do not live long in the wild, please call your local humane society, vet or pet store. They do not do well in the wild. Why would you get a pet and not commit to IT? Shame on you!!!

try pet stores, some have them for sale-might take them in; also post ads in paper and on public bulletin boards..tell about the habits, someone aware may still want them.
