It gives the demetions of Noah's ark in the Torah, but it really doesn't seem useful information, God could have said he told Noah to build a really big boat. For that matter why did he specify the dimentions of the boat to Noah? A boat that was wider would use less wood. If you say there is no God then why would the author give this detail, it is extremely specific to be just a myth.
I already heard one answer to this but it had to do with Gematria which I don't think is the only

The Torah is the 5 books of Moses for you Christians.
I do not think that testing a scale model of a boat in this world is a sufficient reason.
