I saw a face in my crystal tonight after mediating on questions like: What lifetime abilities from the past should I bring forth now to benift mankind? When I saw the face fear touched me and I could not make out the details. IMHO I believe the fear prevented the full image. how do I stop this fear, since I am not sure what is causing it?

I guess it could just be a fear of the unknown for you. Try calming yourself down and preparing yourself for such things in the future. It may even be an emerging clairvoyant gift. Tell yourself that you will allow yourself to be poised and calm ... that you know that no harm can come to you and that you are thankful for the experience and will not fear it in the future. Its all about conciousness. The same way you have to tell yourself when you're little that they'res really not a monster under your bed... then your mom comes in and shows you its really ok. You have to do that for yourself. Just be calm and allow yourself to go through it and the fear will subside.

I agree with another poster... don't give up. Try again. Our greatest fears are "fear of the unknown" and "fear of fear" itself. Fear is like the "proverbial" failing grade that either makes you quit or study and learn. It is a tool not to be "eliminated" but to be used as what it is.
Our mind as our consciousness is like a homing torpedo that does not know where it is going but continuously keeps adjusting its course through a process of "negative feedback". We don't know where the "goal" is but we know when we are "off the track" we feel the "negative". Fear is one of the Negatives that makes us "correct' our course and learn.
Specially don't go to a group that claims to teach "meditation" and is really an "obey the Master" and empower him and his Mission or dreams or fears. They will use "negatives" also but they will be "not reaching the "brighter World" or heaven and at their worse, going to "hell" or some version of it, such as re-incarnated in "misery" or as an "animal".. These are "religious" and "dogmatic" groups and will close you "intuition" and your "visions" and will replace them with "their" visions.
Walk you path and be grateful for the LIFE that you are given to experience, including its fears and joys.
