1. A good start would be to first off make sure that you pay off any and all debt or bills and never be late. 2. You need to build credit by using credit. I suggest getting a credit card if you can, make small charges on it each month and pay it off as soon as you charge it every month. This is called revolving credit. It'll take time to build your credit, but as you get a better score you can take out say a car loan, and pay that off. Show that you can handle having credit. 3. Have a job 4. Monitor your credit reports from all three bureaus, and if you see any discrepancies, fix them. Hope that helps!

Hello,
The are many ways to get credit. You can get bad credit or good credit. The best way to attain good credit is to start out slow. Having at least 2 major credit cards in your name will raise your credit rating. Have more than 5 credit cards will mark you are a potential risk. And having credit cards that are almost at their limit will lower your score. Always make your payments on time and you should have good credit!
I hope this helps!

Start with a secured loan. Only charge less than 10% of the available balance. (After you establish more credit, you can start charging up to 30% and still be okay.) Just make sure you only charge what you can pay. Don't start off wrong by making min payments or late payments. You can also try to get a small personal loan. When you get approved, put the money in a savings account and don't touch it. Only use the money to make your loan payments.
