can two people with different beliefs, viewpoints, faiths, backgrounds...make it? how important is compatability and things in commom? i would appreciate opinions, stories

Well maybe yes if they really love each other they are willing to understand each other inspite of there big differences..........but then its going to be difficult to do so...alot of patience and sacrifices must be done inorder to successed this kind of relationship....But love can conquer any mountins......smile

It is all about respect for one's opinion even if it differs from your own. Couples never see eye to eye on every subject and sometimes that is what makes it great. Good natured debate is a great way to bring couples together as long as both sides are kind to each other because you can learn a lot about how and why your partner sees things a certain way.
Compatability means you can get along, it does not mean you have to be exact replicas of each other. Compatability really depends upon the participants wanting to make the relationship work for them both.

yes they can as long as they are willing to accept the view points of the other without just discounting it because it is not thiers. they also must not push thier beliefs on the other (No trying to convert the other). My last GF and I were of drasticly opposing religions, but she never tried to push hers one my nor did I push mine on her. all was fine. We split for reasons other than differances in oppinions beliefs or anything like that. Short answer it can work

Yes i really do believe so because not everubodys the same, and having different viewpoints is good cuz u know he or she isnt just like that because thats the way you are.

I feel that they can make it; but not for a longer period of time. Although luck plays a greater amount of role in such cases, compatability & things in comman can be watchful.

I have found it's about complimenting each other, not necessarily being compatible.
