First I would like to tell you that I'm sorry for your loss.
I would say yes, I dreamed of my dad for about a year and a half after he died. I considered this a time of morning. I still miss him, and dream about him from time to time, but I think I have gotten past that morning stage. He was considered my Stepfather, but he will always be my Dad.
Oh yes, one other thing. Your brother only being 17 would be considered a tragic experience. My dad's death was also tragic, so I'm thinking this could also be a cause of you having allot of dreams about your brother.

Dreams are the work of our subconsciousness which we don't really have the control for. It's also the means of relating to the inner world and feeling. The information stored in our subconscious most of the time comes out during our dreams when our conscious mind is at rest. So don't worry it's OK.

Registered Nurse here; First let me share with you how very sorry I'm for your loss. Dreaming about your brother seems very normal to me, for this is the only way you can still be with him. I would say treasure those dreams. Thank you for the opportunity to address such a sensitive and sad question. Again, Treasure those dreams. They belong to you and your brother.

I think that it's perfectly normal as long as the dreams are not disturbing to you or are nightmares. I dream about my Dad a lot and he has been dead for over 13 years. At first it bothered me cause I didn't think it was normal but now it doesn't bother me cause usually it's like we are visiting and I get to see him again.

Maybe that is the only way he can communicate with you...... I believe that those that have passed on have the ability to communicate with loved ones still.
Just enjoy your dreams, it is normal. I am sorry to hear that that has happened to you. But I am sure that your brother would want you to be happy.

i lost a close friend of mine almost 3 years ago. he was more like a brother to me than a friend. i dream about him all the time. the way i look at it is that its his way of letting me know that he is fine. it is completely normal what you are going through although it isnt easy at times. i am so sorry that you had to go through that and i wish you all the best.

YESSSSSS... That's completely normal. My mother's fiance died several years ago and she dreams about him all the time. It's your way of keeping his memory alive. It could also possibly be your brother's way of keeping in touch with you. I'm so sorry for your loss, but hold on to the memories you have of him, and keep him in your dreams as long as you want!

Yes. You know psychics say that we go to the soul world each night when we go to sleep and that we really visit the people we lost there. Your brother was probably a big part of your life and you miss him. I'm sorry for your loss.

Read Danielle Steel's book His Bright Light. Then be careful. It is proper to be close to those that were close before. It will be your strength forever. Try to get in tune and let them guide you more.
