Oh for crying out loud! Unless your policy contract specifically excludes collision coverage if you are DUI, it will provide coverage to you. And I can tell you right now that a provision like that in a contract would be against public policy, and probably would be unenforceable. Unfortunately, even though the driver is foolish for drinking and driving, you paid a premium for that coverage, they won't be able to yank it from you.

Just read your policy to know for sure.

Yes, If they do not find out! If they do and you have a clause in your insurance conditions that says that damages caused through alchohol abuse are exempt, then you will have to foot the bill yourself! Your insurance company will however foot the bill for any damage caused to third parties, be it you may have to pay the excess (e.g. the first £100 or whatever contractually arranged) through your liability policy!

If the accident was casued by something that is against the law, the insurance will not cover it. Good luck and be ready to pay a lot of money and probably loose your license.

NOPE....your automatically disqualified ..if your at fault due to alcohol you could be facing alot more charges even jail...
