Have no idea what 'gauging' your ears might be, but it doesn't sound like whatever it is, was a great thing to do.
If something hurts really bad, no matter the reason, it's time to head for a doctor and find out how to make the pain stop. Migraines don't come from anything you might do to your ears, so these are unrelated problems.

Well it's not normal to gauge your ears, do you mean pierced them like with earrings? The nerves in the ears can make your head hurt and your ears hurt, anything in the face and neck can hurt from the ears so yes pain in the head would be normal for an ear problem.

I have my ears gauged, and it isn't normal for to get a bad migraine from it. It could possibly mean he has a low pain tolerance and couldn't take it. But for me, it didn't hurt that much.

Ok It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out he needs help. Why did he gauge them?
He needs to go to regular dr. He could of burst his ear drum or other things but he needs help. More ways than one.
