(sorry I am goin to post this again just I am becos Fing mad right now)
I guess it is a perceptual difference...
heres the story: met this girl at a meeting and talked. we drove back and she dropped me off. there was some good conversation and everything, then I asked 4 her number. She gave it to me.
5 days later i called and her mom picked up the phone and telling me this is her old phone and it got activated since her new phone got lost 3 days ago....
I mean, if u didnt want to give me the number its fine..y would you give me a fake one??? that is just lacking the slightest decency..
I am soo pissed right now and thats y I posting on this, I know this is not even a question..
But females: how do u expect being treated with respect if u do sh!ts like this!!????

ok, I might be overreacting. But the Point is I was not hitting on her or seeing her as a sexual object. I thought she was a good person...and I guess that is What really hurt me the most..
anywyas, ONE TECH question: Can someone's phone get lost and he/she get a new one but use the SAME number???

You can't judge every female because of the actions of one rep. Don't feel bad dude I gotten plenty of fake numbers including one that when dialed an automated message answers saying "you've just been rejected" OUCH!

and again... I'm not understanding what you're talking about with the phone thing... how could she hurt you? You guys weren't even dating. How do you know you liked her that much? It sounds like you hardly knew her. Stop being weird ~ that's probably why she wont talk to you. Go find someone else... geesh!
Genius... Have you ever owned a cell phone in your life????? ~ Just because you lose a phone doesn't mean you can't use your same number with a new one ~ good grief!

First of all you don't call a female a ''Witch'' because she gave you the wrong number, just brush that off your shoulder .And furthermore it's life deal with it.And last but not least Don't call a female a Bytch ,if you don't want a man to call your mother one.Have respect. If you had a daughter would you want her boyfriend call her a bytch.Exactly!

At least she sort of gave you a real number. Some of my old male coworkers would talk about how they give out this fake number that when you call, you get a message that says that it's a fake number and some insult or something.
Big damn deal if she gave a fake number, it's not like she castrated you. Calm down.

She was tipsy when giving you her phone number because you've gone drinking together that night, so she couldn't remember the correct phone number, so she just gave you the one that already stick on her head, which is the old phone number. The new phone number is too new to remember at that tipsy stage

It hurts. But maybe she didn't know how to say what she was feeling without sounding mean or rude.
Plenty of men hurt women on purpose too. It happens both ways and it hurts eqally.
If she was just a self centered (I don't cuss).... then count your lucky stars and don't try to contact her again. Maybe she didn't like your language or behavior.........only you know. Maybe it just wasn't a good match. There will be someone..........just always act like a gentleman.......women like that.

i think that maybe it was a misunderstnading, but if not you should just tell her the next time you see her that she hurt you and ask her why she would do that, she might blow you off, but since she already did it wouldnt matter that much. just be assurd hat if she does not like you as much as you like her then you probaly are not right for each other.

try this on for size,......if you called her five days after you got the number and when you called she lost it three days ago, doesnt that mean she didnt mean to lose it, she just lost it and really you should think about it harder, no reason to get pissed.

She did not want to hurt your feelings. That is why she did it.
Same reason you ask for a girls number and then "lose" it, or get "too busy".
She just wasn't that into you dude.
Not a crime, just reality, grow up.
