i own a repair shop,and the speeding one is worse than the u-turn its just a mi's-demeanor ,but the speeding ticket might hurt you some,but id wait and see if the insurance company finds out about it there's a good chance it might slip right on by them.its worth the wait,just to see,i had one and payed it,and it never got turned in,so it might not get you,good luck i hope this help,s.

they have points on your drivers liscence and if you get to many points you are a risk factor for insurance companys, but on speeding tickets and u turns you should be able to go to traffic school and then your insurance shouldn't go up, oh and if you already have insurance it shouldn't effect you only when you are getting new insurance.

Go to traffic school if you can. It won't cause your insurance to go up then. And speeding is worse, depending on how fast over you were going.

I don't know which one is more severe, but they do affect your insurance because you become viewed as a more risky driver.
