You need to be getting about 25 to 30 grams of fiber per day. The avg. American gets about 15 grams per day. Eat high-fiber cereals and breads, along with fruits and vegetables. Also exercising, such as running will help stimulate some peoples' bowels

Make sure you drink plenty of water. Water is very important to help stay regular. Foods: prunes, whole grain cereal, wheat bran, vegetables.

Try drinking a glass of apple juice, that's what my mom always gave me when I was a little girl. Foods high in fiber are good, too.

Water. You probably do not drink enough water. Whatever you eat, you still have to drink enough water. In addition, take olive oil which will make it easier.
