yes Christianity, only a small proportion mostly in the USA take the Genesis literally, most Christians in the world understand evolution and science and find no contradiction with it and Christianity.
the new medievalists muddy the issue by saying evolution is a theory which it isn't it is proven fact, what is theory is the exact path of human evolution
only in America could their be a mass movement back to the dark ages

Pope John Paul two came out in support of evolution but I wouldn't say Catholicism compliments it .
None religious thinking seems more in line with science to me.
Also what has religion to do with it anyway ?
It's just plain silly to me that religion feels the need to qualify
scientific fact as in the days of Gallileo for instance .
Can a fantasy really determine a fact ?
peace out

There are a lot of Christians who do not throw out evolution. I see the creation story as a metaphor. I believe that dinosaurs roamed the earth....time is relative 7 days can mean millions of days.

Evolution works for animals they have develloped over millions of years .
But Cro magnum,Neanderthaler, homo erectus ,etc all lived at the same time as homo sapian ,and in the same place, also near the oldest known gold mines in Zimbabwe (which means deep deposit),that is hardly evolution
all about 300.000 years ago ,although a sandal print was discoverd 2 million years old on the edge of some lava stone.so somebody was here before as well.
the Anunaki created Homo Sapian to mine gold for them ,the others were mistrails
check Anunaki PDF
all ancient civilizations mention them in legends of their origin

By what do you mean compliments?
Catholicism and Judaism has no problems with evolution.
Tell me, though, why aren't you out there getting rid of the Zoos that imprison your great grandfathers and put them behind bars.
Is that how Atheist, Angnostic Evolutionists treat their forebearers?
Is that the respect you have for your founding fathers?
Your admitted ancestors?
You put them in cages and throw bananas and peanuts at them!
Is that Evolutionist morality!
Evolutionists should all be supporters of PETA if they have any respect and any compassion for those that came before them and spawned them!

yes the religion of Olive Ruth...discovered the Milky Way this summer...and a couple of weeks ago a friend shared an old Celtic philosophy..that there are thin places..places where you can hear God/be closer to God, more easily..star gazing on a dark night, seeing the Milky Way is my thin place....it is so obvious to me that there must be something greater than ourselves, while looking at the spectacular sky...and how impossible it is to believe that it isn't a work in progress....it is always evolving

None....theory of evolution is completely atheistic.
There is plenty of evidence AGAINST EVOLUTION:.
First, the 'Cambrian explosion'; the millions of fossil types in Cambrian rock (oldest fossil bearing rocks) appear suddenly and fully formed and without any previous forms...IOW, there are no transitional forms.
Most well educated evolutionists when forced to ...will admit it, but very unwillingly, and even then they always want to seem to make new excuses for it. Usually they just don't say anything about it and hope noone finds out.
"From the beginning of the Creation God made them male and female..."-- Jesus (Mk. 10:6)
" By the Word of the Lord were the heavens created, and all the host by the breath of His mouth. For HE SPAKE AND IT WAS DONE; HE COMMANDED AND IT STOOD FAST". (psalm 33:9)
