He hears the prayer of people who have repented and taken Jesus as the Lord and Savior.you can be saved but had not prayed for repentance,so they prayer are going no where. the pray of repentance must come first and from the very heart and soul.the word of God says He hears the prayer of His people which are those who have repented and turn their life over to Christ

God hears all prayer, but does not answer all prayer. I am Christian, and God does not always answer my prayer, and when I look back at the prayers that were not answered I am glad that they weren't. He will sometimes answer the prayers of those who are not saved to show His grace.
Sorry that there's not a more definitive answer to this question. God does mysterious things for His glory.

He has to hear all prayers in order to hear repentance. Personally I believe He is able to do anything any of us can think to pray for but I don't see evidence of involvement in daily lives. Children die and evil people go on without any repercussions. And I still have not won the lotto. Judgment will come tho for all.

Well, the first prayer that God promises to hear IS a prayer a repentance, and then He promises to hear all prayers of a believer, as long as there is no unconfessed sin in your life.

If you have two children fighting with one another or just not obeying you,are you going to take them out an ice cream cone?I wouldn't recommend that,for in doing so you would only teach them to disobey.Wouldn't it be the same with God?Do you really think He will bless you when your disobedient and have no intention of doing so?It is good that you recognize the need to pray,please don't stop,but if I were you I would be praying for Him to forgive me.He has so much that He wants to give you,and satan has nothing at all but sorrows to offer.

The Bible is clear that God listens to your prayers. The Bible also advises you to seek His will and go to God about every thing you do, for everything you do, and so on.
My question is, what do you think being saved means.
Also, if you don't understand the Bible when it says that the only way to the father is through Jesus, and the only way to inherit eternal life is to be born again or be saved. The only person who can save you is Jesus, therefore, you must know Jesus in order to go to the father.
Why do you pray if you don't believe or understand these other things?

God Is God the same yesterday, today & forever. He made us and we are all equal in his sight, He loves us all the same. He doesn't like it when we do bad stuff(sin) but that doesnt mean he doesnt love us or doesnt hear us. People seem to think that sins have different rankings. A sin is a sin. God listens, sees and knows all things before they happen, especially our future. If you pray let it be with a sincere heart! :o)

He is everywhere even in the presence of an unsaved prayer, so...
I know He answered my most important prayer in jail before I knew Him
and He knew I would Know Him soon!!

so now God only hear those who have been saved? So why would he want to go out of his way to rescue the non-saved? Because to be saved God needs to hear you prayers to save you right? Honestly, God listens to all of us. If we pray for guidance it will come. If we pray for grace, it will come. If we pray for deliverance , it will come. This is how it goes.
