I had a mini practical exam today, where I had to explain the control system of a PT-6. I nailed it, except for the beta valve. On this prop governor there was no beta valve, instead the feedback ring was linked to the top of the pilot valve. It has me fairly confused, because the feedback ring pulling up on the pilot valve would increase pitch, right? If the prop INCREASES pitch, how can you enter reverse pitch?
Any way, my teacher didnt clearify things and this question is eating at me. I hope someone out there knows what Im talking about.

Are you trying to reverse the valve action. Then connect it on the opposite side.

Without a Beta valve, how can you control the reverse pitch??? Remember that this valve allows the oil to flow into the prop.
