I hope you are kidding. If you aren't.... DO NOT use them for any type of gambling. That is a sure way to get yourself into trouble. If you are looking for a way to make extra money, you would be a lot better off buying some good books on how to invest money, pay off debt or start your own business.

In theory no. The mark up on lottery tickets is very small. When you use a credit card they charge a handling fee that makes the profit margin almost nothing. So most companies will not allow this.

However, if you go to a gas station, buy a bunch of stuff and some lottery tickets, poorly trained staff will often sell you tickets as part of the transaction, and thus on credit card.

It is up to the store in Florida. Most will allow if you are buying other stuff also. 7-11 just recently went to cash only for lottery tickets. The store only makes 5% on the sale and the credit card fees eat up most of that.

No one can buy a lottery ticket with a credit card. It is against the rules regardless of the country the card is from. Everything has to be paid for with cash.

Most stores (the smart ones at least) do not allow this practice for a sound business reason.

If you use a credit card for a purchase, you can dispute the charges. Most stores refuse to let you use your cc, so that after you lose you don't turn around and file a dispute with your credit card company.

It is a pain in the butt to fight refusals and most businesses go out of their way to avoid the situation.
