well I am not saying to do it....But if the house is wired corecly and it is in the USA The long slot is neutral The short one Hot , and The odd half round one is ground and therefore that would be the only safe one....but your nuts to even ask !

try both then you know
some times it is only one side ,it depends on the wiring
but why would you want to do this in the first place ,also depends if it is earthed or not

The prong that is all by itself. It is the ground, it isn't hot.
