In the USA, it doesn't matter if the P2P software (such as Limewire) is free or paid. The sharing of copyrighted material is still considered theft of intellectual property.

There is no difference between Limewire and Limewire Pro when it comes to copyright laws. Downloading music without paying for the music (not the software) is illegal no matter how you do it.
Go to the Limewire website and it'll say the same thing.

u can use either 1 it doesent matter they r not illegal cause if u download it and u open it u r on a network of shared files u can download anything u want it is legal cause it is on a network of other computers so go ahead try the free 1 first to see if u like it then if u want to up go buy the pro.
