I am 5"5 and 120lbs. But I would like to gain some weight. My goal weight is 135lbs. Do you think that is too heavy for someone 5"5?

This is the formula used in gyms to determine "ideal" weight.

5 ft=100 lbs
each inch above 5ft=5lbs/inch
+10% for muscle mass
(+10% for bone density)

100+25+13=138

135 is totally reasonable for your height. If you are more densely boned, 151 would even be ok! Try gaining your weight in muscle. Increase the protein in your diet and start weight lifting!

You don't want to gain weight too quickly, because that weight would all be fat. Your age is an important factor in this. If you don't mind sharing, I can add more insight.

I don't know if that is too heavy or not... but If you want to gain weight quickly than eat at McDonalds for every meal, works like a charm ;)
