I can't think, I'm in such a fog I feel like my brain is shutting down. Could this be serious or am I stressed out from having two children and taking care of the home

I'm not depressed , I'm happy, I don't have to keep reminding myself that, it's just fog. Plus hardly good sleep

Slow down in all things you do. Take your time and know the time is yours. That will make everything more calm and serene. It isn't the situation itself. All things come from within.

Darling, this sounds serious to me.
I would seek out a professional to talk to. If you are religious you could start by getting advise from a clergy-member. If not, ask friends for suggestions for a good psychiatrist or therapist.
Even if your fog is a light fog, you are depressed and children of depressed parents eventually don't get all of the stimulation they need.
I know you are doing your best, but please, seek help until this fog lifts.
Love to you and your precious babies.

Well, if you're so happy, why did you ask us if it's serious? You sound in denial now. Get help so that you don't screw up your children, OK, dear.

I know you have lots of good answers but I just have to share with you, I have 6 months old twins and a 2 year old, so I totally know what you're going thru. I actually just speaking with a councellor at our mental health clinic here. She taught me some ways to deal with my stress and I'm going to try those out, and if it doesn't work I may look into some kind of medication. Do you get any time to yourself?? I'm trying to get out and go for a walk every day just so I'm out of the house on my own for a little bit every day. You need to get back to yourself and I think that will help a lot. If you're feeling really bad please see your dr tho, nothing wrong with getting some medical help if you're feeling really bad. good luck, you're not alone!

There are days when every mom feels like they cannot handle the stress of children and household duties. If, however, you feel like it is too overwhelming and it may affect your children, you should see your doctor. This could be post-partum depression or another emotional problem.

Stress, chronic constipation, diabetes or hypoglycemia, and many other factors can cause those symptoms. Get checked by your doctor.
Are you neglecting yourself? Don't skip meals. Get a little exercise.
