I'm too cynical to believe your nice super-powerful guy would want something in return, and if he's that powerful, there's no negotiating with him.
Nope, I'm fine with the universe the way it is: Godless and dynamic on its own.

AND heres why I love krispy kremes....
I like them because they taste great, are less filling and don't require ketchup on the side. That ketchup stuff can be messy and time consuming, especially if you are somebody who works.
Also, I like them because they go well with green beans and nobody has ever tried to hurt somebody with krispy kremes that I know of so I guess they are really peaceful. By that logic, If we were all krispy kremes there would be world peace and everyone would taste great!
Other than that, I like them because you dont need to mix them with mayonaisse and green onion like a can of tuna, that can be a real pain in the butt. They are fine the way they are!
Also, I knew someone with a krispy kreme hat and another guy with a krispy kreme coffee travel mug. Both of them were real nice, and they were not even the same person, even though they both play golf.
Plus theres lots of selection so every day you can try a new one without having to start over for like 3 weeks.

Actually, there is. The God that loves us is the God of the Bible, the only true God. He is loving and forgiving, but also is just and righteous. Even though he seems harsh sometimes, it's all for the best. He's not like a santa claus, who gives out presents to whoever asks, but God doesn't smite people for fun.

guess wat? - he really does exist. that super powerful guy you are thinking of is waching you from heaven, waking you up every morning, keeping you safe from the evils of this world and keeping you in good health. he wont answer your prayers if you dont believe he will. once you accept him as the supreme ruler of the universe that he created, you will see miracles happen that give you an even deeper appreciation of who he is. read the Bible. you will be amazed at what it says about the world today and how accurate it is. it will also change you life forever - guarenteed

That would indeed be fantastic. And it was in my great joy that I discovered, a few blissful years ago, that indeed there is just such a God. And I had no idea how very beautiful he was, until he showed me just how gently he had been with me, loving me, all my many years.
