How much water do you drink? You need to drink half your body weight in ounces just to maintain body functions. So say you weighed 120lbs, you would have to drink 60 ounces of water a day...that is 7.5 cups (8 ounces each) witch is just about 2 liters (8 cups is 2 liters)
But yes, diabetes is possible, you should see a doctor. Otherwise, stop eating sugar too.

Go to the doctor, that is a side effect of a variety of differant problems. Ask the doctor for a full physical and blood workup. Also, try cutting out the sports drinks totally - unless you are an athlete, they're totally useless and actually make most things worse.

It's a sign of Diabetes, are you having other symptoms? Either way you should start tracking your daily water intake, if you find you are drinking more than half your body weight in ounces, everday, then you should talk to your doctor. It could be a serious underlying issue.

Have your dr check you for diabetes. Excessive thirst and fatigue are 2 of the 3 main symptoms of diabetes--the third is frequent urination. See the doc asap.

You need to see a Dr. Excessive thirst is a warning sign for diabetes. Does anyone in your family have it?
