a whole clove, a half clove? Crushed or plain? Are the bottled garlic cloves any different from fresh cloves? Is it ok to refrigerate them?

Also I heard too much is bad for your stomach so how much is too much? Thanks.

I love garlic. I eat it almost every day. You can cut it up and refrigerate it but that would reduce it's nutritional value.Just like cutting up fruits and leaving it in the fridge to chill. I usually just chop or slice it and stir fry it with vegetables or meat. That's very common in asian cooking. mediteranean style cooking uses it a lot as well.
Garlic prawns, garlic bread, pastas. there is so much you can do. If you peel and chop them they might go green in the fridge. I think you should mix in some olive oil to prevent this. Search the internet for recipes with garlic as an ingredient and you'll get a whole list if you're not sure where to start.

i like to incorporate it in my stir fry dishes. I'll probably eat about 5-6 cloves a week. i don't eat garlic everyday, but try to have it as often as i can. garlic powder is pure garlic, butyou have to add a lot if you want the equivalent of whole cloves.

you can peel them and refrigerate them, but they wont be as fresh. the prepared minced ones won't stay fresh as long, but it's convenient to spoon out how much you need. whatever is more important to you, freshness or convenience. if nutrition is important, then eat as much as you can. good luck.

i dont know why you want to eat it...they have garlic vitamins....in pill form
if you eat too much it will ooze out your pours and you can smell it...on your skin...to roast it...cut about 1/2 inch off the top, wrap in tinfoil, pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the cut part...roast for 45 min at 350 in the oven spreads like butter on toast, instand garlic bread...i wouldnt eat more than 1 clove a week...

I think having garlic daily is too much. Although it is supposed to make you healthier, I think it's because people can't stand to be around you.
I worked with a married couple who had garlic daily & I once was on an elevator with them & almost puked (really) the smell was so strong! Never got on the same elevator with them again.
