What in your opinion is a good place for a Martini in the city? maybe a place where you had a great experience or just a place that has good Martinis.

It's not the hottest location anymore, but I've had a great time in Pravda--a little martini/caviar bar on Lafayette in SoHo with (can't you tell?) a soviet theme. They know their Martinis. They've had some bad reviews lately, which seem to speak to overcrowding--a victim of their own success. But what can I say...I had a good time. Nice ambiance. Arched ceilings, soft warm lighting...and did I mention...they really know their martinis.

Felidia, which I think is at 58th and 3rd.

Its an Italian restaurant and the dirties are made with these outrageous olives and olive juice.
