She can put up flyers where senior citizens go like senior centers and do things for them. It's really hard to get help these, even family members won't help their elderly. She could take out trash, run small errands, walk their dogs, sit with them if they have had a procedure done, read to them, she could make some friends too. If she is really good at a subject she could tutor younger students, parents pay for that. Talk to the elementary school guidance person and ask about it. Dog walking. Pet sitting for people that are away from home. Good luck.

RE:
What jobs can a 9-year old girl get?
My daughter is looking to make some money other than babysitting or getting allowances from us.

Depending on her energy level, competence, and whether you're going to allow her to work "outside" the home....
Raking leaves
Helping with gardening (there's a number of older people who might be able to use young flexible folk to help carry end-of-season garden trash---she can do it in small loads)
Dog walking
Snow shoveling (once the winter hits----again, there are a LOT of older people who would LOVE to have a reliable person who will do this)
And around your house....she can....
Scrub the bathrooms
Clean out the oven
Sweep the garage, basement, driveway, etc.
Help with laundry (like folding clothes away, or putting them on hangars---possibly even simple ironing, or running a load)
Starting the dishwasher; emptying it out
Be responsible for animal care (litter boxes, cleaning pet dishes, brushing/grooming)
I'm sure you can think of a few (dozen) other chores around the house that might be delegatable.....and quite young kids CAN do a lot....

I think she may be out of luck-- I dont think anyone would hire a 9 year old for any job other than babysitting and even then-- that seems young.
Does she even have a SIN Number??
She should stick to babysitting and getting allowance
sorry

she is not old enough for anything but a allowance. I have a 9 year old and no way would I leave him by himself let alone take care of a child.

Well there isn't that much for a little girl to do.But to babysit and get allowances. The other thing is maybe to ask family members if she can go and clean there house.Or friend.
