Nobody is commanding your child to try and extract free candy from his house. Just be glad he's not some nut handing out razor-bladed candy apples.

What the kids ought to do is just make sure he was picking those tracts up off the sidewalk and street the next morning, but he like every other religious fanatic can't just have fun or let others have fun without injecting their religion into it.

This happened to me and my little cousin a couple of years ago! Some jerk handed her a Chick Tract and some gum. I asked her to show me what it was since I didn't go to the door with her - I was standing with a group of parents, just chatting and watching the kids. Once I saw what is was, I and some of the others with me went right back to the house, knocked on the door, and gave it right back, along with some choice words. Let the friggin' kids have their fun. If you don't like Halloween and think it's evil, turn out your lights, lock the door, and don't answer it.

Why is that ruining anything? What's funny is how we've become a society of complainers. Someone's trying to do something good and you want to complain about it?
Why are you so upset about something that is given out of love?

I'm a Jehovah's witness therefore we don't celebrate holidays I just turn off the lights and put a sign up saying that we don't celebrate.
As a JW however we don't wait for people to come to us nor do nor do we do it just once a year we go from door to door all our lives.

the johova witness's left a book for my grandkids. I looked at it and saw jesus riding a horse with a sword.It siad in the book that when jesus came back he was going to kill all the bad people.Wow !!! let your kids read that thing they will be scared to death.Its a blood bath.

Yes. brainwashed since children and ignore facts very sad but pychologically speaking it's not their fault it's the lack of education and brainwashing. Very sad actually.
