Most defiantly!! Because the bible tells me that God is a Spirit and that you must worship him in Spirit and Truth. So being a mere mortal man, he would need to show proof, because God does not and can not lie, and I believe his words.

I laugh at anyone who doesn't think they would need proof. Go to NY -- there's a bunch of men there who will claim to be god to you. I seriously, SERIOUSLY doubt any one of you would take them at their word and start begging for forgiveness or something...

As for the question -- I'd ask him to make me fully fluent in every human language instantly. That's a win-win right there. :-p

If it was truly God as man. He would't have to prove anything b/c the Holy Spirit would tell me if it was truly him or not.

If God appeared in front of you as a man, you might never know. If he wanted you to know, you would know. But it might well suit his purposes for you not to know, while he observes how it is you treat him.

Then the righteous will answer him and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?

When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?'

And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
