If God exists, he is all powerful and thus capable of simulatenous revelation to all at the same time. Obviously, its inefficient and unfair to reveal himself to one region in a particular time frame and not another.

So, if Judiasm is true, Jews are the chosen people, and us non-jews are not. Now, this doesnt bother me, because Jews are not particularly violent, as a consequence of their religious beliefs, and therefore, I dont care if they believe in this absurd cosmic unfairness.

If Christianity is true, we still have the problem of slow regional delivery, despite the exahuastive efforts of missionaries.

If Islam is true, we have the same problems as mentioned above, along with the violent spread of religion, which immediately begs the question of "why would God even allow his religion to be spread by the means of violence?" For example, the very reason Islam even exists in India is totally due to massive Islamic invasion.

I agree, evolution is way more beautiful. I think it's awesome that we all evolved from Africa. I'm a caucasian Australian but I have always had an affinity for Africa.

No wars have ever been fought in the name of evolution either.

I think that the truth is most beautiful of all!

Only through reason will we find the beautiful truth. Imagination is great but it doesn't compare to reality.

The wonder and power of reality is so great I am a little saddened by those who think they already have the explanations for everything in a tidy package called God. Life isn't tidy and easily understood. It's messy and strange and mysterious. One tiny shred at a time we're figuring it out, tiny bits of truth are stacking up.

From what we've uncovered the Pierolapithicuis originated in Eurasia, them migrated into Africa, evolved into homoerectus and then eventually homosapien, then again migrated back into Asia. The skulls found in Africa match the skulls found in Ayran Java What people do we find in Aryan Java? the Andamanese peoples or Adam, the original man. Be careful when reading, When they say the first man came from Africa, its means exactly that, the first MAN. We were something else before we were MAN. Something like the Pierolapithicuis.

of course. But that's not fair..I've always been an evolutionist..Especially when I was forced to go to church as a child..I listened to religious rhetoric thinking what kind of gibberish is that. The more I heard the more I knew it was BS.
but watching the the world change from moment to moment, and people, and ideas, talents, abilities, and litlle sibblets of darwanian philosophy seaping into the mix, and then I read Dennetts book..Darwins dangerous Idea, and he tied all the pieces together. (Darwin and Dennett)

excellent, evolution is fact it doesn't take much to figure the cycle and branches of natural selection in all life... planets stars solar systems and galaxies. All matter was formed by the stars. The greatest mystery is where did the first particles come from. Then you may find God or some higher intelligence(s)

I get your point: To me evolution is a wondrous process.

However, I must defer on the beauty, because I believe beauty is in the eye (or mind) of the beholder. There is nothing that is objectively beautiful or ugly, but rather qualities that trigger ideas of beauty or ugliness within ourselves.

God is known and has touch every heart and he will touch the hearts of those who you think are unreachable and he is not selective. God will be known before this Earth goes to Hell. Evolution is definitely a beautiful fairytale for grownups.

Shalom

I still would like to believe in Creation bec I would like to think there is a God up there who made me and watches over me even when I am asleep.

Just my thoughts on ur Q: I think its not God nor their religion that is wreaking havoc here. its their Human-nes that is. They are only humans who have limited experience on courtesy, ettiquette and etc. same way they still have problems to deal with after a long day etc.. they are only human....and it is their same weakness and mistakes that will make them a better person, only if they put down their ego and put on love and understanding instead....

God vs. Science

God is sitting in Heaven when a scientist says to Him, "Lord, we don't need You anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing. In other words, we can now do what you did in the beginning."

"Oh, is that so? Tell me," replies God.

"Well," says the scientist, "We can take dirt and form it into the Likeness of You and breathe life into it, thus creating man."

"Well, that's interesting. Show me."

So the scientist bends down to the Earth and starts to mold the soil.

"Oh no, no, no," interrupts God. "Get your own dirt!"
