Shave with a moisturized conditioner. Be sure to wash your legs well with soap and water after shaving and moisturize after you get out of the tub/shower.

There is a product out called TEND SKIN.

It calms razor burn, bumps and ingrown hairs. I have never used it but a friend of mine swears by it. I used to get those bumps a lot but don't get them at all now!!

I use St. Ives Swiss Formula Body Wash, Whipped Silk. It is in a purple bottle. It not only smells great but also is very thick and creamy. It makes my skin smooth, super soft and shiney. It's also cheap! Since I've used this...no more bumps....anywhere!

Go to this website and read all about TEND SKIN. Make sure you scroll all the way down ... there is more information after a big advertisement in the middle of the page.

If you get ingrown hairs and bumps even when shaving with a new razor, it could be that a) you need to exfoliate and scrub off dead skin to expose the hairs or b) you need to shave with the grain instead of against it.
