I am deeply rooted in the thought that the mind is powerful. Illness is not a necessity. Yet because I am in the public I still pick up flu's and colds from time to time. Why with the knowledge I have gained can I still not fully overpower germs? I can however remove a cold or flu from my system faster then usual. Examples a cold virus known to affect most up to 3 weeks or more I was able to remove from my body within 4 days. A stomach flu known for terrible affects briefly touched me and I had it removed in just over 12 hours. Most have it for about 3 to 4 days. But it bothers me that it touches me at all. Any ideas?

addition information: I was a sickly child but as I grew into spiritual thought I became very healthy. Only after I got a job that puts me out into the public daily did I find I started to pick up colds/flu's again. Before the job I went over 3 years of no colds.

Listen to the expressions you use: "...because I am in the public I still pick up..."; "...overpower..." It is a deeply held universal belief that contact with others attracts and/or spreads disease. Belief is power in our terms. Mind is not just powerful, it is power itself. Go inside, explore the contents of your conscious mind, and look at your beliefs.

Clean out the beliefs you do not want, embrace those you do want. You will advance in your learning, and your efficacy.

Our minds are very powerful when you can think those thoughts. I'm pretty much the same. The reason why your getting sick is because your working with the public, because most of them either don't either was there hands, wipe there eyes, or touch someone whose already had a cold. The sneeze and its all over there hands.

I know how your feel I have a sinus infection and i'm fighting it. I have used the natural teas and believe it coffee, makes you breathe better and vaperoize or is the humidifer. all i know is it gives off heat and i can breathe.

The only suggest I can give you and makes sure you have some of that instant hand wash. Don't touch your nose, mouth, or eyes. If your working with money and you see someone who you think has a cold as soon as you take the money and there gone take that soap and wash your hands.

Suffering and illness are needs sometimes in my view. Only through suffering you learn and grow.
If everyday is a happy day for you, you would never realize if there is such thing as happiness.
But what ever you are now, its all because how you have made it. If you accept every thing that you have got and do not give so much importance to your illness, instead counting your blessing and remembering God in every step of your life (especially during happy time) you can over come your suffering and maintain a balanced life.

The physical symptoms are a colloquial expression..Listen to what you are telling youself. Are you constantly saying to yourself that you are sick of something?Do the symptoms allow you to avoid something that you might consider "worse"?You must still carry leftover beliefs in illness that may be activated under certain suggestions by you.Practice,practice.And concentrate on what you want to experience.

God uses A-L-L things for our good to those that love Him.

I heard Joyce Meyer say,
"The Healing Spirit of Jesus Christ lives in me" and that is SOOO powerful to me. I CLAIM that every time I get ill.
In Jesus' name.

God helps protect us.
