If u listen to the newer airlines, while they are 'young' they may say something like Cheep Tuesday specials. Although that does not last for long, go to a travel agent or do a bit of resurch by going on airlines websites and when you put your date in, insted of Must travel on this date, click Date Flexible or the simmerler term.

From there, the page will give you 3 days before and after your date and the cheepest price you find is it!

Confused? Thats as easy as I can explain. The airlines make it complicated so people dont use the feture.

Also, if you have friends who fly regualy, ask them as they should know a way to get cheeper tickets

You typically see flight cancellations on Thursdays and Tuesdays. These are also lean flying days so if you don't mind getting a standby flight, this is the cheapest way to go.

During the lean season or low season. You can ask the Airlines when it their low season. Just buy it ahead of time. At least one month before your intended date of departure.
