She is a boxer mix, but looks like boxer to me !! She is only 8 wks old , she is brown with a little black going down her back,but mostly brown. She has cute sad eyes !! and wrinkles like the boxer has on the forehead. she 's cute !

What is her color? or breed? I love the name Cameo for a light colored one.

Some people think it's really clever to name the dog "Dog." Others with a more twisted sense of humor like to call the dog "Cat."
I think it's funny as heck, but usually our pets kind of fit into their own names.
"Ken" is one way to say "dog" in Japanese, so maybe the Kenya suggestion would work on a lot of different levels. Somehow, Brownie is also creeping into my mind.

Well I would say let her find her own name, it may sound daft, but it will happen. something she will do will make you think omg she a ____
I had the same problem with an adult dog rescue that had no name . then one day when she was cuddled up to her new born puppy(she was heavily pregnant when i got her)I said oh what a little gem. that became her name Gem. same thing with a kitten Mischief became his name.

I also got a female puppy 2 days ago and I took a whole day to name her but ended up calling her 'Sasha' which means
'defender of mankind'.

I love the name Cammie. I had a pit bull puppy i named this. I also like the names Nila or Brownie!! Brownie just seems like a sweet name doesnt it!!!!

I always like to give my pets "people" names. Maybe name her after a relative or childhood friend that has a special meaning or fond memory for you.
