Generally, a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses is built without windows only in areas which tend toward hate crimes and vandalism against houses of worship. Sadly, it seems that the questioner must be from an area with a reputation for bigotry and lawlessness.

Jehovah's Witnesses are proven to be true Christians based upon the Witnesses' preaching work and the anti-Witnesses' bigoted hatred against them.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Jehovah's Witnesses worship in Kingdom Halls not "churches"
As for not having windows, some do and some don't. It mainly depends on the age and location of the Hall. Newer Halls and those in areas plagued by vandalism often do not have windows.
Having no windows cuts down on building costs, vandalism and helps keep people from being distracted during the programs.

Have you been to one by yourself? The one I go to have at least 5 very good sized windows.

I studied architectural studies in university and there are a lot of factors to consider in where to place things (such as windows) in a building, for practical and esthetics reasons.

For example, the main purpose of our meeting place is for people to study or discuss the Bible. Usually there is a speaker in front on the platform. To aid people to concentrate during the program so as not to be distracted by activities outside, the windows are carefully placed to achieve this and to ventilate the place at the same time.

The restrooms (bathrooms) and the library are usually designed to be close to the entrance of the hall, so that during the program if people would like to go there, they would not be distracting people listening to the one on the platfrom, which is usually at the back of our hall. This also prevents people from getting self-conscious when going to the bathroom. Because of the toilets being at the front of the hall, the practical design is to have very small windows or sometimes even none at the front. (We don't want people peeking inside our toilets, no thanks.) You might have gotten the impression that we have no windows because of this reason.

Why don't you go inside a kingdom hall by yourself and find out how many windows we have? You might be surprised.

So you could ask this question on YAHOO.

As to secret societies, Jehovah's Witnesses spend */- 1.35 billion hours a year telling people what we believe.

If it is a secret to you, it's because you aren't listening.
