It sucks. If you can convince your daughter to give him a normal name, he will have a MUCH easier time of it in school. Tom, Paul, William, Robert. Not "Dick" or "John" - too many associations. Kenneth, Bruce or Donald if he has even 1/64th Scot in him.

Giving an innocent child a weird name is like painting a target on him for the bullies. He's going to have enough trouble. Give him a normal name.
