Yes - Nyquil contains acetaminophen (Tylenol), and over the normal dose it causes permanent liver damage. I am a paramedic, and once had a guy take 4 extra strength tylenol and go into liver failure. That's why there are directions with warnings on the label telling you not to exceed the recommended dose. Whoever took that much should get checked immediately - they may be able to give them ipecac followed by charcoal. Nyquil also contains an antihistimine, which can cause drowsiness and sometimes suppress the repiratory drive at high doses, and a decongestant, which can elevate blood pressure, leading to strokes. Follow doses closely, and remember that exceeding a doseage doesn't mean you will get well faster.

Im pretty sure you cannot die from taking that many nyquil pills, however, it can and most likely will make you feel very high, not that i have experienced it myself, but i do know someone who had an addiction to them. If you have taken that many i wouldn't do it again as you can become very addicted to them, it can and will mess up your judgement, and can cause massive family problems (experience!!) If you have taken that many or know someone who has and are not feeling right im sure it wouldn't hurt to go to the doctors, if you are worried about it, or just sleep it off... that is after all what they are supposed to be used for!!!

The Tylenol will definitely make you vomit and you're no longer think to take greater than 4 grams in an afternoon so that you must name poison manipulate or move to the ER. Tylenol can kill you and the NyQuil will make you drowsy.

I don't know for sure. You should call your poison control center in your area, they will be able to tell you.
