Your pill is oxycodone 5mg. It is plain oxycodone and does not contain any acetaminophen (Tylenol) or Aspirin.
It is made by the Ethex Corporation.

It would be wise to speak with a physician if pain will continue to be an issue as this type of medication can be habit forming

Percocet?

All percocets I've seen are white and round. Hardly ever colored. The pharmacist aren't supposed to tell you. 1) they don't know if you have a prescription for it 2) they didn't give it to you 3) if they say yes, and you take it and it's something else it's possible you can sue 4) there are so many different pharmaceutical companies out there and they don't make their drugs to look alike. Have you ever looked at Tylenol? There's PM, headache, Extra Strength, slow release, quick dissolving, cold and I think gel caps. They all look different. Then look at the store brand Acetaminophen, ( that's the other name for Tylenol) they have the same things listed above and they all look different same drug, different name. You should take those pills 1) they're not yours and 2) most importantly, you don't know what it is. If you want percocet, get a prescription so you know what it is. If not, get Extra strength Tylenol or Ibuprofen take enough to be 600 mg.

It's not Percocet.....it could be Percodan which is a dark yellow....which contains aspirin while Percocet contains Tylenol. I don't recall the USP number as being 625 however.

Don't take it....never take a drug you personally are unaware of it's origin. Toss them out. If you are really curious, next time you are at the library, look up Pecodan in the PDR at the reference desk.

It is very hard to tell you what the pill is, based on the color of it. Every pharmacy has different pills. I've never seen though a orange percocet.

First off all perocet is not orange. The only thing i know that is orange in color is aspirin. That sounds like ecotrin or high dosage or ibuprofin. Actually i have no idea.. what i would do is flush them down the toilet. You can go to the hospital and get free care and they will probably pull it for you. There is always a dentist on staff.

I did a search for this pill (as per your description)... and nothing came up, there are some with WYETH on it (also orange)...
the link to where I looked follows, you can go there yourself, click I Agree, and continue on with the pill search. Good luck.
By the way, I wouldn't take anything I wasn't 100% sure about.

have no idea AND DONT take it!! GO to the pharmacy and give it to them and ask. Percocet is not a little orange pill. It is ususally white.

percocet is a white tablet, even the generic form is white. I don't know what your friend gave you, but it isn't percocet. Be very careful what you put in your body.
