I have a male "Tuxedo cat" who was born to a Siamese mother. All the other kittens in the litter looked like the mother except my Sylvester. He has the Siamese eye shape but his eyes are green and the mother and all the other kittens in the litter had blue eyes. Just wondering if Tuxedo cat is considered a breed or not since no one can seem to give me a straight answer on it.

Some Siamese cats do have green eyes. All kittens are blue eyed at birth however, some kittens eyes change to their adult color faster than others. It is very rare for a cat who is not a white cat or a Siamese cat (Siamese being a recessive gene for partial albinism, a partial albino with the areas of the body that are coolest, being darkest in color, and with blue eyes) to have blue eyes as an adult. The few adult cats that aren't Siamese or white and have blue eyes as an adult usually are Siamese mixes.

Tuxedo is a nickname given to black and white cats whose color and marking patterns resemble that of a mens Tuxedo suit, (similar to the color and markings of the Sylvester cartoon character). Its not a breed.

Incidentally, it is possible for a litter of kittens to have different fathers. Just a thought since you mentioned he is totally different from the rest of the litter, that the other kittens may have been out of one father, and this one out of another father. I once saw a litter that was easy to tell it was out of two fathers, the one father was polydactyl, which is a dominant gene and all of his kittens were six toed like he was, the kittens of the other father were normal toed (and coincidentally longhaired blacks like their father while the kittens of the six toed cat were black and white or blue and white all with six toes like their father, the mother was a black shorthaired cat.)

Tuxedo is NOT a breed - it is a color..
in order for any cat to be a BREED - it must be registered - therefor BOTH parents would be registered and so on...
even if a cat looks like a certain breed (again tuxedo isnt a breed) if the parents are not registered that kitten cannot be refered to as a breed... just a type or color

No, it is not a breed, just a common way of defining the coloring of certain white on black cats. Cats that have a white chest or a white streak down the chest are called tuxedos because they look like they are wearing a black tux. I have a tuxedo cat, and he is very handsome.

A cat with a black and white pattern fur that resembles a tuxedo is called as a Tuxedo cat. This cat is not a particular breed of cats, but is named as tuxedo cat because of the tux pattern of coat. If you were showing your cat he would not qualify because of his markings. Tuxedo is just a color. His father was probably not a siamese, which would preclude ANY of the kittens as pure blood and would not be showable. I have a orange and white part siamese, he's got the siamese temper, but basicly, your cat is just a cross bred cat and his color is normal.

tuxedo is a color used to describe black and white domestic short hair cats (mutts). Just like my sweet kitty. But, a cat can become pregnant by more than one male, thus the different kittens.

The tuxedo cat is called so because of the markings and black and white color. Seems there is some controversy on this, so I would suggest that you go to a neat cat site. address is: http://www.cats.about.com.
