Approximately 6 pm. Not too early, not too late. It should be dark enough at six. Never go anytime after 8 pm.

Well, it seems around here, trick or treating has changed drastically. Ever town around here does a "Trunk or Treat". It is set up by the PTA or a church at the park. People park their vehicles around in a BIG circle and the kids go around to every car. If you bring your child your supposed to bring treats. Last year it was HUGE. It's a lot safer this way for the little ones I think, but it does take some of the "spirit" out of Trick or Treating I guess.
Oh and they start it at 6:00.

For little guys probably between 5 and 7 pm, before it gets too dark and too scary with the big kids and the adults.

I usually let my daughter go when she has eaten dinner, around 5:30.
