Well John The Baptist immersed Jesus so if it was good for Jesus then it would be good for us. God Bless !

Of course it maters how! The Bible is our guide to all things pertaining to God. We need to read and understand that God has reasons for what he asks us to do.

Baptism is immersion. Not sprinkling. Nowhere in the Bible is there an example of sprinkling of water in place of immersion. Jesus was immersed, so should we follow him.

Well, Baptists like the entire thing done, because that's how John baptised Jesus. There's a statement in the Bible that says Jesus came up and out of the water, which makes it sounds like he was dunked in the river. Baptists want it done the same way, for symbolic reasons, and also how one can be entirely washed clean of sin too. (I think)

Baptism according to the bible is the act of being completely submerged in the water, no one in the bible was baptized by a sprinkle, that's just a catholic tradition I think.

Water baptism is a act of commitment, it does nothing for salvation. If it was necessary to be baptized in water to enter heaven, then Jesus lied to the thief on the cross.

Either way works, because either way is approved by the authority of the only Church Jesus ever founded, and of which he still remains the head.

Nobody else's opinion on the subject really matters.

I believe in immersion because we are to follow Jesus and that's how He was baptized!

I prefer showers. I always feel cleaner than when I take a bath. Who wants to soak in their own filth???

Have you tried that vanilla lace body wash from Victoria's Secret?

Yes, it was done by John the Baptist which is a perfect example of what should be done in my opinion.
