It is your opinion on this matter. There is no way to see what it is like after death.

Our conscious spirits carry on after death.
There is a god, and if you strip away all the organized religious stuff, you will better understand.

I believe in reincarnation. We are here on earth to love and care for each other and to work out the karma of our past lives. Jesus was a perfect soul and we have to strive to be so also. We are judged after each life, but not in a cruel way. We are given help to plan our next life -what we need to do to further the development of our soul. We can't remember this in our physical state as it is too much to carry around in our current life. When we die, we remember all this, and while we are alive, we can meditate and train our minds to remember if we choose to do so.

Read something about Edgar Cayce or a book by a reputed spiritualist medium, and don't be afraid. Cayce was a church goer before he started doing trance readings which helped hundreds of people. He healed many while in a trance and did past life readings, indicating if the person was on track or not. He helped many troubled people find happiness.

We are all connected and have the capacity to become a super race, but we are a long way from that. We have to develop our souls so that we are worthy of rejoining our god/creator. We once were aware of this connection but were given physical form to manifest our creative spirits. We fell prey to all of our physical trappings, vices and bad habits and lost the connection.

Focussing on selfless love is the best way to advance our souls' journey. This is the common message in many religions and if you only do this, you will do well.

Did not Christ raise Lazarus from the dead, back to being human? Did he not rise from the dead to being a spirit being? Yes, there is life after death, in that everyone gets resurrected, either in the rapture, for those born again, or the second resurrection of Revelations, for everyone else. They get raised to everlasting (not immortal) life or to a declaration of judgment. Which depends on what is in their hearts and how God views it. We are not the ones to say whether one person or another will be judged.

Until then, we sleep in the grave, just like Christ did, unless you know for sure, and know, you are greater than him thus you deserve better than that.

Yes You are eternal. You are not this body, mind, senses, race, color, job or even religion. You are spirit soul. You never not existed. You do not die but the body dies at the time of death. When one dies they leave their body and go to their next destination. If one is fully God conscious at that time they go back to the eternal spiritual world where there is no more birth death old age or disease or suffering. It is completely ecstatic and blissful there. But if one misuses their human form of life they can go to hell for some time (not eternally) or even become a animal (they eat sleep mate and defend so do we) if we want to go beyond animal life we have to realize our eternal relationship with our creator. Yes ofcourse there is a god and there is only one!( ALLAH) And about life after death you dont keep dying and coming back, how it works is you die then on the day of judgement everyone is brought back to life again. The reason for this is that then everyone is judged if they're going to go to Heaven or to Hell according to their sins and good deeds!

I used to wonder about this too. Then this happened to me.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

If there is God?
God is infinite, so he is here now. Since he is infinite, time is considered zero to him, means he is in the past, now and future, in his reference he is always at "now". Since he is infinite, he is everywhere, means in his reference he is always "here".

Since man is limited, we have to pass time, we have our past and future is still ahead, we are waiting for the future. God doesn't wait for the future, because he is there already, got it :)

Since man is limited, we are here, not there, I am here, and you are there. But for God he is there with you and with me on the same time and he is on planet far far way also, right now!

Who we are?
We are part of his infinity, means we are a subset of him. We are limited in nature, you are there now, but not here with me ;)

Where are we going?
Since there is "only" him "nothing-else" you/we are going back to him, you/we have no choice. In Christianity : I am Alfa and Omega, the first and the last... everything goes back to him. In Islam: Innailiahi wa inaillaihi rojiun, translate: "from him we come from , to him we are going to go back".

But... where are we going? Heaven, Hell or else?
God is all living, so when we go back to him , we shall live, How? Are we going to walk, eat, talk and other terrestial activity after life? May be yes, may be not? another life could be different. But don't worry... God himself promise a better life, could be in different form.

Hell and Heaven?
Hell is a place to purify man from impurities. When you/we are purified the place is with him. Heaven is a desire (desire is nafs in arabic, ego in latin). Buddha wants to go beyond Heaven, he wants to be union with God. Since God is all living, since he is the (most) beauty the best place to go back ... why we should scare to go back to him, to union with him.

" many people think the terrestial life is the best form of life, is it?"

He is infinite, indward and outward, past, now and future, matter and non-matter, he englobes everything, every nanometer, every single atom, every energy, everything you see and unseen is part of him, everything you think and unthinkable is part of him, he is infinite.
