Keep 'em coming!
My son was just two years old, spending the night at my parents' house. My mom makes my dad's lunch at night since he leaves the house at 5am. (He grabs it from the fridge in the morning.) So it's like 10pm and my son, Eric, is at my mom's side in the kitchen saying "Come lay with me, beema (grandma), I'm tired." Mom says "Hold on, honey, I'm almost done making grandpa's lunch." My mom turns to look at Eric after 15 seconds or so--he was gone. She assumed he went to bed to wait for her. He comes toddeling back into the kitchen and says (confused) "Beema, grandpa not want lunch! He sleeping!"
My other son for a long time said the "T" sound in place of "C" or "K". So cake was 'tate'. Well he liked Kix cereal. (See where this is headed?) He tells me one morning "Mommy, I want ****." My eyes buldged! "WHAT?!" I gasped (I didn't nurse him) "****. I want **** with milk" Then I got it. Sometimes he had cereal dry, sometimes with milk!

WHEN MY MIDDLE SON WAS ABOUT 2 AND WE WOULD WANT HIM TO DO SOMETHING. LIKE GET HIS SHOES, OR GET READY TO LEAVE THE HOUSE. HE WOULD STOP AND START SCREAMING. WE ALL JUST LOOKED AT HIM AND I WOULD SAY. CALM DOWN WHAT HAPPENED, WHATS THE MATTER. AND HE WOULD YELL I CAN'T I POOPED. THAT WAS WHAT HE YELLED WHENEVER HE DIDN'T WANT TO DO SOMETHING AND WANTED MY HELP.
MY OLDEST SON WAS AROUND 2 OR 3 AND HE WOULD WALK AROUND SAYING PRAISE JESUS, ALL DAY LONG. NO MATTER WHERE WE WERE.

My son who at age 2-3-4 and now 7,loves anything with doctors, blood, police cars..you get the point.Well, when he was around 3 he would watch the learning channel. I guess I was not paying attention to what came on after the cartoons in the morning (A Baby Story)!!! He was at my mom's house and Papa was laying on the couch on his back,he walks to Papa and makes him slide his feet up so his knees are in the air,(papa looking confused) watches as my son walks back to get a pillow and then lays the pillow over papa's lap...he then takes his sisters baby doll and shoves it under Papa's legs! He stands back..looking so proud..carfully takes the babydoll out and hands it to Papa and says "LOOK YOU HAVE A BAAABY!!!" My dad laughed so hard he fell off the couch! and of course..I got yelled at...but i sure do change the channel after cartoons are done now!!! I'm just happy he has not asked how that baby got in there to start with!!!

fair warning I have a 2yo girl and a 4 week old boy, sorry if I get carried away. im me if u want more. Haylen, my daughter is a total drama queen, so far Mika is realy laid back. She prefers to hve what little hair she has pulled into pigtails above her ears. After waking from her nap the other day, she comes to Frank and myself, and is in tears. "baby, whats wrong?!" I ask her. "Momma," sniffs,"my hair is cwazzzieeeee." followed be deep sobs. I look at Frank and he is trying not to laugh, she is obviously upset by this beyond any reasoning. "Hayhay I can fix your hair" ok, that SHOULD have stopped it, but no. She takes a deep breath, holds out her hand and screams..."It fallin out, it leaving me, it look terrible!" I look closely at her hand and there are 2 light blond hairs there...ok I think, time to get rid of the mirror in her room. she sits down in the floor next to Mika's bouncy seat and looks closely at him, sniffs a few times then bursts into tears again. "Haylen, what is it baby?" she sighs deeply, and states "Mika has more hair than Haylen!" Not quite true, but I couldn't hold it in any more, and I burst out laughing right along with Frank. She looked at us, stopped crying, and said, "Haylen made a funny, right Momma?"

Your story reminds me of a good one, but my oldest was in 4th grade at the time. So she comes home from school one day, bursts through the door, and without so much as a 'hello' demands, "Mom, you have to get me a G string." Now I'm thinking, 'I don't give a rats @ss what your friends are doing....' and I say to her "Excuuuse me?!!" She rolls her eyes and says "Please." I say "What are you talking about?" and she says "For my violin! I broke my G string today and I have lessons tomorrow!" Whew!

My 3-year old daughter doesn't like learning anything, even numbers. So, I use Tickle Me Elmo TMX as a teacher. Since then, we've been playing games while she also learned her first ABC. You may also browse this site http://www.upkb.com/elmotmx.php for tips and details.

My 20 month old likes to put this huge bucket thing I use for laundrye on his head, like the kid from parenthood.
He also gets excited to play with something and will accidentally bop himself in the head with it, shaking it with excitment.
