Depends where you live.. Grapes are perfect here, some late pears and tons of veggies, esp. carrots are wonderful, no - cook seasonal snacks. You can try www.eatlocal.net to see what is available in your area right now. When I lived in the dorms, we kept a little fridge with tortillas, salsa, cheese, carrots, hummus, and whatever fruit was in season handy for snacking. Those yummy little clementines should be showing up soon, too.

Apples, pears, oranges and such. Go to your grocery store and see what they have on the shelf. Price compare with a fruit market and you will be able to tell that the cheapest fruits are the ones that are in season.

Pears are in season at this time of year. Asian, Bosc, Danjou, red, all are tasty and slightly different in flavor. Grapes, Mandarin oranges, persimmons, pomegranites are also in season. Cranberries are in season as well, but I don't recommend eating those without mass quantities of sugar.

The pears are delicious. Try Asian pears, if you haven't yet.
Also, if you've never tried persimons, they're great, too. I prefer the harder ones, but some like the softer ones.
