Many say yes because of this verse, however one preacher here says not and I think he has truth on his side

Yes, it says that there is a cloud of witnesses that cheer us on, in Hebrews. I believe that means our loved ones are cheering us on in our spiritual walk. not necessarily or job, or what clothes we wear, but our spirit which is eternal.

I dont think they'd want to. Looking at us would make them sad because of our sin
