You have to try and remember (tho it's hard) - that it's nothing to do with you.
Your time will come.

Does your best friend or the guy knows that you like him?
When you said going out, do you mean they are together already? If not, then do your best and win him over!
I won't used the word luv if you don't really know the guy well.
Unfortunately, love has to be two-sided. If clearly the guy choose your best friend, wish them all the best. sure... you will be angry, sad and depressed, these are all common stages of grief. What is important is that you can carry on with your life after some time. Mingle with other people first. When you can accept the fact, then maybe you can all go out together. :)

If your best friend knows that you like him then it is disrespectful on her part. On the other hand if you went out with him it would be disrespectful on your part because she obviously has the same feelings for him. Both of you need to let him go and find someone else. Remember that no guy is worth breaking up a friend ship. If she cant see this then obviously she values her relationship with this guy more than her relationship with you. I hope I could help.

Be happy for your friend about the relationship. Jealousy is takes you nowhere besides tear friends apart. Friends stick together, and if you really love the guy, then you would want him to be happy.
EDIT: unless you're friend already knew you liked him, then have a talk about it with her to let her know how you feel.

I feel for ya...I went thru the same thing. Their relationship lasted for 3 years. It was the hardest thing I ever went thru. By the time they broke up, him and I hooked up...broke up, and then I met a wonderful new man...my husband. Time heals.
