When we die, we will be dead and have no further access to any senses like sight or hearing. You will be as you were before you were born, that is, you wont be alive.
Religious people use this tired expression as a lazy substitute for thinking. So, instead of reasoning through a question and thoughtfully answering it, they will parrot back this simpleton religious cliche "oooh, you will see when you die and you will be sorry".
Its as if they want you to assume that despite their inability to think critically, they neverthless are fully aware of the exact parameters of life and death, and you, despite your plainly superior intellect and ability to express your thoughts, dont.
Do you think these simple little people would have a heart attack if you responded to their simple little religious cliche with "Im persuaded, it was the passionately tone in your voice that won me over, clearly, although you have no ability to explain to me why you know this, you clearly do, and I dont"

They lack creativity and imagination so they parrot what other people say and those people also lacked creativity and imagination.

You talk about what it's like to be dead as if you've been there. Did you die and come back to report to us what it's like "over there"?
How do you know that you don't have a soul that will continue to live after your body has died?
Even with your "superior intellect and ability to express your thoughts," you could be wrong.

Now your just being hate-full in your previous question you stated that you were a secure person.And now it seems that you are in-fact insecure because you are belittling church goers or religion
I don't care for religion .But I can't say that people that do like religion are insignificant!Even you know that what goes around comes around.They just have a different way of saying it.

It is a way of putting off the argument, sort of like saying "There will be Pie in the Sky when you Die" to a person who wonders why their life is so hard.

not all religious people are like that. i agree some are even stupid. its because of false promises that religion makes and the gullible and selfish people take heaven for granted. So, when such questions are asked, as they have nothing to cover their ignorance with, they use stupidity as shield. It makes me laugh and feel pity.

no we think beyond which is the material world, this is to say that we think about what exists outside of time and space, hence the creater of that there of. This being said, to say that you will see when your dead, is to say that you will be fully aware of the true presence of God, upon your seperation from the body.

but, why does the fact that you believe give you the right to be sanctimonious and self-righteous? and to threaten other people with the hell that you believe in?
but that does go both ways. atheists, etc. do not have the right to insult christians because they think what the christians believe is bosh. they can just not believe or believe something different without baiting the christians.

i think when they say that they mean u will regret that in the judgement day after death, because on that day each one of us will be judged for his deeds , beliefs , and what he has done in his life.
and i think u are right about something that ,explaination , is better than that.

because we believe in the unseen.
2:1
Alif-lam-meem
2:2 This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;
2:3 Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;
2:4 And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.
2:5 They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.

Because when you die you'll get to laugh at them all? If their afterlife exists and you end up there (hopefully not) then you will see the "Truth"
